·  Associate Professor, Department of Topography, Technological Educational Institution of Athens (TEI-A). Course: “Photo-interpretation & Remote Sensing” (2005- ).

·  Associate Professor (407/80) Department of Biology, University of Patras. Course: “Cartography & Remote Sensing” (2003-4)

·  Tutor at the Department of Applied Physics, University of Athens, in laboratories of the undergraduate course on “Atmospheric Physics”, during the winter semester of 1996-1997.

 

Publications

Author of more than 110 scientific papers presented in peer-reviewed journals, books, International and Hellenic conferences and Project Reports. Also, content provider for a multimedia CD-ROM on Remote Sensing and GIS.

 

Review Experience

Acting as a reviewer for:

Journals: Journal of Geophysical Research-Atmosphere, IEEE Transaction on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, International Journal of Remote Sensing, Journal of Atmospheric Research, Journal of the Air & Waste Management Association. 

Books: reviewer for books “The Photogrammetric Record” published by Blackwell Publishing Ltd. on behalf of “The Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry Society” and “ISPRS Highlights”, the official bulletin of the “International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing” Society.

Project Proposals: Acting as an evaluator under the 6th EC Framework for IST-FET (Future and Emerging Technologies) and INTAS calls. Also, evaluator for calls of the General Secretariat for Research and Technology, Hellenic Ministry of Development.
