Still/moving image coding applications, digital tv and multimedia
The Group is working for the development of efficient schemes for
processing, coding and storage of high quality still and moving images or
video; the standardization activities of various organizations (I50, CClT,
CCIR), as well as the proposals for the development of high definition
television and mixed media systems, are followed and used in this work.
Various applications are considered, including digital TV, multimedia and
seismic signals.
