It is not possible to appraise the World Wide Web (WWW) as a whole, because of its enormous size and its complicated structure, as this is presented to the user. Though the computer screen is the only way to navigate oneself in this incredible and intriguing maze. Nevertheless, being aware of the force and the potentialities of new technologies, we tried to squeeze in this pilot program the vast amount of knowledge, concerning the WWW, the web Browsers, the web Servers, the routes on which the human civilization is striding.
We tried to give you only a fraction of this great adventure that is called World Wide Web and is only a few years old. This fraction though is going to get larger and larger every day as we will keep on enriching our program with new data. Besides the WWW has only made its first steps in conquering our world.
The name we gave our server is "ULYSSES" because we believe that he, the greatest of all voyagers, is the most appropriate to accompany you in the daring journey through the Internet. He is the character most apt to lead your steps to the fascinating quest you just start.
